AMELIA-COLETTE JONES

At odds with the normal and legitimate, Amelia-Colette is an artist, design educator, and independent curator based in St. Louis, MO. Amelia's current projects infiltrate failures of memory and engage radical forgetting. In the never-ending present, situated among fellow-workers feminist and experimental, they uncover the paradoxical and metaphorical aspects of repetitive motif and action. In 2017, Amelia-Colette (with Trina Van Ryn and Liz Wolfson) opened Flood Plain, a non-profit art space located in the Gravois Park neighborhood in St. Louis, MO. As of 2024, Amelia-Colette serves as Installation Manager for Coral Green, a woman-run artist space that exhibits women and women-identifying artists.
