AMELIA-COLETTE JONES

At odds with the normal and legitimate; Amelia-Colette Jones is an artist, educator, and independent curator based in Saint Louis, MO. Amelia-Coletteā€™s current projects infiltrate failures of personal and cultural memory while engaging radical forgetting. In the never-ending present, located among fellow-workers feminist and experimental, they uncover the paradoxical and metaphorical implications of repetitive motif and action. In 2017, Amelia-Colette (with Trina Van Ryn and Liz Wolfson) opened Flood Plain, a non-profit art space located in the Gravois Park neighborhood in Saint Louis, MO. As of 2024, Amelia-Colette serves as Installation Manager for Coral Green, a space that is run by and exhibits woman-identifying artists. They are currently Instructional Technician in the Sam Fox School of Art & Design at WashU.
